Pennsylvania Critters
...our amazing neighbors.

This page will be updated occasionally, so come back to see the progress!

Wolves in Pennsylvania? -- Well it's been over a hundred years since the last of them roamed free around here.  But we still have the privilege of meeting some of these magnificent individuals!  Visit The Wolf Sanctuary of PA -- located near Lititz, just off of 322 near the 501 intersection.  Seeing what we have lost may show us the importance of holding on to what we have.

Peregrine Falcon in the City of Harrisburg? -- Yep. You can see a Peregrine Falcon family, live, from the top of the Rachel Carson State Building in downtown Harrisburg. Visit the PA FALCON CAM and click on "Watch the live cam".
While you're at it, find out who Rachel Carson was.  She is responsible for saving the Bald Eagle by making everyone aware of how the use of DDT effects the whole country (and not just a couple of bugs).
